I drove 28 miles to this hotel from the truck I was working with, but didn't want to stay in South Haven again. Even though the lobby was closed, you had to go across the street and check in at the Baymont, it was well worth it. The GM, Dolly, went out of her way to accommodate my wishes, a good roomy room, bottom floor and coffee, she even threw in a free meal at Peggy's Diner, which was unbelievable and scrumptious. The next day, after I checked out, I had to book the room again and again, the staff was very accommodating and got me into my same room immediately. The room was spectacular and the staff was friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel for any traveler, whether business related or otherwise. Thank you so much Dolly!!!
Rooms are $85.00 per night, rooms are clean, and there is a mini fridge and a microwave. Tv works great and the service are friendly too!!

Past experience with Travel Lodge in Wellington has not been it's best. This visit was amazing. I had a clean room, the first time. It was peaceful, safe, and relaxing. My check in experience was friendly and pleasant. I got to choose a noon check out time so I don't feel rushed to get out. Checking out in the past was unpleasant and unfriendly due to my service dog, despite the, "Pet Friendly" sign. I am staying positive that with the hotel being under new management, today will be different. The hotel is in a great location for those who may be on foot with the dinner and gas station so close. Thank you for an amazing stay and changing my mind in the quality of my stay and spent money.
The king room was very clean and comfortable. We were here for 4 nights while attending the Walnut Valley Flat Picking Festival. Great location at a good price! My reason for giving Service a 4-star was due to having to go across the road to check in and also to get our room keys re-programmed after the second night. There was no breakfast, but Penny’s Diner served up great nostalgic ambiance, strong coffee, and delicious food!
Had a great time staying here in Wellington, Kansas. Peaceful atmosphere and awesome customer service. Thank you for the warm hospitality—I highly recommend this place!

The woman at the front desk was wonderful, I’m sorry I didn’t take her name. The cleaning staff were very friendly. The room smelled of cigarettes However, it was clean and worth the price.
